Through the modular anti-gravity support system and the safety harness, Moonwalker allows orthopedic, neurological and cardiac patients to perform motor, postural, cognitive and cardiorespiratory rehabilitation activities, otherwise not feasible, promptly activating augmented, proprioceptive and haptic feedback in the context of the proposed activities. The innovative characteristics of the omnidirectional platform allow movement dynamics to be triggered on a spontaneous basis, consistently with the functional abilities present, thereby activating natural motor patterns. The combined technologies of the system allow the patient to simulate situations of daily activities in complete safety with a significant degree of adherence to reality.
