FRIGOSTREAM-Expert represents proven cold therapy applied directly and locally to the patient's muscle tissue. The healing, pain-relieving effect of cold therapy is primarily attributed to the thermal, neurophysiological stimuli on the muscles, as well as the nervous and vascular systems.In feedback mode, the desired skin surface temperature can be selected between 12 °C and 26 °C. FRIGOSTREAM-Expert extracts air from the environment and cools it to -35 °C, reaching a flow rate of up to 1500 l/min. The cooled air stream is directed directly to the desired body part via a flexible hose and nozzle, without requiring skin contact.
